I’ve spent my whole adult life saving and then spending on adventures to see the beauty of the natural world. I’ve so far ticked off just short of 50 countries and there are probably 3 main wildlife encounters that stick out for me. 1. Photographing a Jaguar on the banks of the river whilst canoeing down through the Amazon in Peru. 2. Spotting an artic fox on a solo camping trip in the West Fjords of Iceland. 3. Watching a male tiger swim across a lake in 50 degree heat to meet his female and walk off into the distance together.

Big cats, foxes and bears all tick the list (apart from my own dog of course!). But to be honest, I’m fascinated with them all - snakes, spiders, underwater creatures, birds of prey, the lot.
